The Montréal-Nord Meatball Festival is a community culinary competition celebrating global diversity through a single universal food. Citizens and families showcase their traditional recipes from countries such as Bangladesh, Tunisia, Haiti, Mexico, and more.
Here, cooking is seen as a way to build social cohesion, foster pride, and pass on cultural heritage. Each meatball tells a story, an origin, a family history.

Register before May 30
Free registration, open to all residents. You must be available for the entire day on June 13, 2026.

Prepare your recipe
All meats, fish, and vegetables are accepted. Each recipe must be linked to a country or region. No desserts allowed.
03
Bring 200 portions
Each participant prepares 200 meatballs weighing 25-30 g each. Ingredient costs are reimbursed up to $120.
