On the program, more than 50 exhibitors, producers and processors on site from August 19 to 21, culinary demonstrations under the theme of the Quebec Forest, an animated family zone, the BBQ Challenge which returns for a 2nd edition, a breathtaking musical program, the Sucrerie du Domaine truck to treat you, menus of 100% Quebec products to drink and much more!
More than 50 agri-food exhibitors will be on site on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to help you discover their exceptional products. Whether you want to taste them on site or buy and consume them at home, you are sure to make fabulous discoveries! In the exhibitors' area, the animation, provided by the company Méga-Animation, will ensure that you have a great time.
In addition, terraces will be set up throughout the site creating a festive, country and gourmet atmosphere. The site will also be embellished with flower pots, edible flowers, fine herbs, hops and floral arrangements created by the expertise of Jardins Gourmands. Then, in the family zone, the Majo farmhouse will be on site with small farm animals for the delight of children. This area will also include a play area and a snack bar. In addition, Promutuel's inflatable game will be installed to brighten up the visit of the little ones. The area will be animated by workshops on the theme of the Quebec forest, fun workshops created expressly for the occasion by our favorite gourmet gardener, Pascale Coutu of La Courgerie.
Lanaudiere BBQ Challenge
Back on the site this year, we will welcome the Challenge BBQ de Lanaudière, a competition of amateur and professional grillers. On Friday, the children will take up the challenge proposed by the organizing committee. On Saturday and Sunday, the competitors will have to cook different meats according to the rules imposed by the competition, including chicken thighs, pork ribs and beef brisket. The meats cooked will of course all come from Quebec producers, and visitors will be able to taste the same dishes as the judges, thanks to Boucherie Bellerose and Alpha Barbecue, who will have their tasting booths in the Challenge area.
