The Portuguese community is headquartered in Montreal and Canada for over 60 years. Since 1953, the Portuguese immigrants have made Montreal his home town and integration. Today there are several services and community Portuguese organizations in various parts of the city.
Like many other communities, Montrealers have contributed in their own way to make Montreal a cosmopolitan, modern and prosperous city where inclusion and the harmonious coexistence of different ethno - cultural communities are important assets.
Eager to contribute to intercultural rapprochement, to make all Montrealers more aware of their cultural heritage and share it, a group of people committed to our community come together each year to organize a new edition.
Leading our mission of preserving the Portuguese - speaking cultures in Canada, we like to celebrate with you the richness of multiculturalism in Montreal, so every year we present a rich and diverse program that shows our music, art and cuisine. not to mention the activities for little ones. Each year we have many local artists and many around the world.
As part of these festivities, we offer free concerts, dining experiences and a big parade on Sunday at 13h, where the vast majority of cultural groups in the Portuguese - speaking community will be represented.
