HANDMADE came about organically when Palmera, an Australian based charity that has worked in the North East of Sri Lanka since 2004, saw how food featured heavily in the lives of the women they work with.
HANDMADE is a cookbook that takes you on a journey of amazing food shared through the stories of 34 Tamil women – their struggle, hope & strength as they rebuild their lives after a 30 year conflict.
Guests have a choice of a Vegan or Meat/Seafood menu.
The Handmade book will be available for sale for $50 on the day.
