Since 2012, Les Premiers Vendredis has been a flagship street food event in Montreal. It is a monthly event that takes place from June to October on the esplanade of the Olympic Park. With over 50 food trucks and restaurateurs, it is the largest gathering of its kind in Canada.
The best of Quebec street food is offered: from the now classic churros of the Mignon truck, the poutine of the Gras Dur and the tacos of Mi Corazon or the frozen delights of Mr. Crémeux. There is definitely something for everyone!
Les Premiers Vendredis is also the largest ephemeral terrace in town with over 3,000 seats. All this with live music, wine and cold beer, activities for the whole family, in short, a place to meet and have fun.
In addition to our desire to promote local restaurateurs, artisans, farmers and entrepreneurs, our mission is to contribute to the democratization of gastronomy by focusing on "street food" in a spirit of cohabitation and inclusion of the various expressions of culture in our community.
