From June 15th to 18th, 2023, the first edition of Cho Dêm MTL, will be held at the Peel Bassin in Montreal's Griffintown neighborhood. This unique event celebrates the vibrant Vietnamese cultural identity through food, music, and cultural performances.
The event is organized by Association Vietnamiens Québecois (AVQ), a non-profit organization recently founded by a group of young Vietnamese-Montreal entrepreneurs who want to introduce Montrealers to the rich cultural heritage of Vietnam. Cho Dêm, which means "Night Market" in Vietnamese, and is inspired by the bustling street markets of Vietnam where vendors sell fresh produce, street food, and handmade crafts.

Food and cultural enthusiasts of all generations. Admission is $3 per person. Free for children (12 years and under) and seniors (65 years and over).
On the program will be over 20 food vendors, merchants and organizations to discover, offering Vietnamese food, market products, and a series of featuring rich cultural performances by local Vietnamese artists including dance, music, DJ sets, Rap & Hip Hop, magic, live art and more.
