Right to privacy
The privacy of our users is important to us. We may request personal information from time to time in order to enable you to participate in and enjoy what L'Évidence has to offer. We are committed to letting you know how we use your Personal Information. Unless you authorize us to do otherwise, we will insure that the privacy of the Personal Information you provide us will be protected and not disclosed to any third parties.
Information we collect and how we use it
When you create a L'Évidence account, we store and use the information you provide during that process, such as the first and last name you enter and email address. You can modify some of the account information you provide through your account settings. If you believe that someone has created an unauthorized account using your personal information, you can request its removal by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
To request your account information be deleted from our servers, please contact us with your username and/or email address at the following address email@example.com. Any activity associated to this account (such as reviews, favorities, etc...) will be deleted as well. Data deletion is permanent and can not be undone.
We may use a browser feature called a 'cookie' to store some Personal Information. Cookies, by themselves, cannot be used to disclose the individual identity of any site user. This Personal Information identifies your browser -but not you-to our servers when you visit our site. Unless you specifically tell us, we will not know who you are, even though we assign your browser a cookie. If you opt not to accept cookies, you may not be able to use some of the features on the L'Évidence website.
Occasionally, we or one of our advertisers may host a contest or promotion where it will be your option to enter and provide the requested information. Children under the Age of Majority must get parental or legal guardian permission before providing any information for such contests or promotions. Please read our full contest rules and regulations.
From time to time, L'Évidence will conduct online surveys for internal purposes or for third parties, to gather general information about users and/or their views. Participation in these surveys is voluntary; no information will be collected except that which is knowingly supplied by the user. Identifying personal information will not be shared.
How Your Personal Information is Used
From time to time, we may analyze traffic and use of the L'Évidence Website to determine which features and services people like and don't like so that we can improve what we do. We prepare aggregated user statistics or information summaries in order to describe our services to third parties such as prospective business partners and advertisers and for other lawful purposes. An L'Évidence advertiser will never have direct access to your personal information. We will not disclose personal information about you to any third party without first getting your consent to do so. We may have to disclose personal information when legally obligated to do so (such as by court order or search warrant), or in an emergency situation, or for security reasons.
