Best Indian food in jean Talon, this place is in all honesty the best value you're gonna get around, did they core is from another world, it's like somebody took acid and higher Dracula to become the interior designer . Everything they make it is consistent. You will not get disappointed with their food, there is speciality is northern cuisine of India and the service is amazing since there is no one there ever. The food here is simply incredible. Cooked to perfection, heavenly tasty, perfectly greasy. Also the vibes are immaculate, the decor is so nicely curated, and the service is so friendly and just- I love this place. The papaya salad with pork was sooo tasty and refreshing, the pork buns were wow, the satay chicken was one of the best I've ever had. They do not take reservations, be aware that you may have to wait a good hour and a half on a weekend at peak time, but they have a bar where you can wait if you want.Voir plus

We were a group of four ladies who went to Montreal from Sherbrooke for a concert. Since the concert was an Italian opera singer and it was one of my friends birthdays we decided to have Italian! This restaurant was perfect!! The staff were all SO nice! Our waiter was able to answer all of our questions and made recommendations that were delicious!! Habitués du Satay, il fait partie de nos restaurants préférés à Montréal. Bonne cuisine, savoureuse, belle ambiance et accueil toujours chaleureux. Nous ne sommes jamais déçu. Un de mes restaurants préférés à Montréal. La nourriture est toujours tellement bonne et le service impeccable. Ce soir on a été servies par Yoshi, une serveuse vraiment incroyable. Elle a pris le temps de nous recommander avec honnêteté et patience pour s'assurer qu'on aime notre expérience, ce qui est énormément apprécié. Elle s'assurait que tout était toujours à notre disposition et elle a tout fait pour nous accommoder tout en étant extrêmement chaleureuse. Unfortunately the food was good so i kept going back but over time I had so many disappointments with regards to the way they treat their customers including myself many times. It was the last time I went there . 15 min before closing time when we had even paid our bill and was having the last sip of our tea she comes and asking us to leave on a saturday night when there is two other tables eating!!!! Gibby's is an absolute classic located in Vieux Port. The building is cozy, rustic and nostalgic. Steak is a must, they will cook to your liking. The portions are big, and the value is worth it.
