I dnt like it. For the service: the resto "breakfast club" is an english name yet the staff there can barely speak english.. They hire many people but they dont use them efficiently. Its so unorganized and unwell trained..!! For the decoration:I dint like to eat my breakfast in a dim light ambiance. My day just started.. Why so dark? For the food: lots of variety! But.. The potatoes can be better.. For the price: fine.. ~7-10$
I heard from a friend that they serve good curry chicken.. Dont know about that meal but the meal i ordered was bad! I ordered the "i forgot its ebglish name".. Probably something like fish-flavoured eggplant, It came and tasted like sweet and sour eggplant... It's not suppose to taste that way!! It's suppose to be salty with a light fish taste.. Disapointement is what i feel.. I hate it when its not authentic! Half Open kitchen, so u may leave with a smell in your clothes...
Best poutine place! Lots of variety and big servings! Affordable! However, not a good place to go on a regular basis. Got to eat healthy, poutine may lead to heart atk. Try it out!
Okay, dont expect much from a buffet but seriously, if they can't make sushi, dont make any. You are simply wasting food. The variety is limited. Price is like any buffet , so average. I dont really like buffet after all, but i am unable to decline an invitation :(.
Good food, good ambiance, friendly staff! I dont like the fish flakes on the food. Go in group and try out their saké bomb! Price is fair, probably a bit more pricy than kazu. Nice decoration!
Very crowded! Its not a bad thing but it gets very tight! The food isnt that great. My dumplings were dry.. I have a feeling that they recook what have not been sold. I remember it used to be a great place to dim sum but it has gotten bad. The service is below average. The waiter are running around shouting, and u can barely get service. I'll just put 3 stars as i understand that its hard to offer good service when one waiter got to serve 100 people at the same time.
If you are looking for freshness, you've got it here! Sushi made on the spot with quality and fresh fish! Its the place to eat sushi. The price is fair. You get quality food that will satisfy you and make you happy. Very nice music and decoration. Very friendly staff. Note: try a la carte for sushi, they are taste better vs sushi in a combo
Oh my god! I can't believe there isnt a single comment at this restaurant! This is the best korean restaurant i have ever been! Been there twice (but i forgot when was the first time) and they havent disapointed me!! Its like a kazu near concordia at NDG but korean not japanese! You have to google map this place! Love the side dish, kimchi, chop sui, cucumber, potatoe, radish <3 Their seafood pancake is excellent. Very crispy <3 Their soft tofu soup is also good. The tofu in it is so soft. Their calbi is delicious! So tender and marianated just the way i like it. However, its pretty far for me. I am unable to go without my bf driving me. Very affordable! If u are alone, the pancake will fill u up! Most things meals with rice. The service is acceptable. See you there!
Okay, dont go there in a group because you wont like it. Its so small. 4 people, a simple table. 6 people, the same small table! There is always a line up but it goes really fast, dont worry. The food is delicious! Love it. Went there many times already! Its a must go place to try out if u are a concordia student. You must Go there before u graduate!
This may seem strange but we heard this restaurant on youtube. There is a clip showing the got to go restaurant in montreal: shwarts, banquise, joe beef, garde manger, etc. So my family and I decided to try it out. We made reservation for... A month later! Wow! Must be good since that many people go. We got there earlier than our reservation and the friendly staff showed us to our seat. Not so cozy but i can bare with it. No menu, everything written down on a chalkboard. Love the lobster spaghetti! Yum but very sinfull! Had to hit the gym the next day lol. I would definitely go back!
I really like the Dumplings/ravioli there!! It has soup inside! Reminds me of guanzhou.. The old days in china and awesome food. What i dont like is that their so called "special du midi" isnt really on special. ln bad french "c la crosse!". Their special midi is a dollar less BUT you get less in small character at the bottom: 12 pieces vs 15. Acceptable price but the service is soso. I will go again :)
I think that Pho Bang New York is the best vietnamese restaurant in chinatown. Their food are so tasty! Plus, the tidyness compared to it's old place went up a level. It's way cleaner! Love it~ My other visit there won't be long.
