When I worked in the area, I would eat here a couple times a week, it was so delicious. Fresh paninis: fresh cut cold-cuts, homemade sauces and vinaigrettes, homemade soups. If your sandwich had cheese, they would melt it for you, but they would do it before putting the lettuce and tomato so they wouldn't wilt. There's a huge selection of sandwiches, each of them bearing different names of people. The Marco Special is the most popular, named after Marco himself. It's a real treat when Marco makes it for you! Staff is super friendly, they recognize you quickly and there's a sandwich for everyone. They even serve soups and potatoes. Simply delicious, I highly recommend it!

This restaurant is fantastic. The food is fresh and vibrant. Their tomato sauce is one of the best tomato sauces I've ever had in a restaurant (many other Italian restaurants and reception halls manage to screw up a simple tomato sauce). The grilled octopus is served with a delicious barley and bean salad, and their polenta is served with peppers and sausage and it's just like what nonna would make. Everything is absolutely delectable! (Try their focaccia as an appetizer!) This is also one of the few restaurants that cooks your steak RARE if you ask for rare, not MEDIUM-RARE. They got it right the first time, and I loved that. Also, the fried calamari is fresh and delicious and not too oily. The decor is modern and chic but still very classic. It makes for a nice romantic dinner as a couple. The music is good too! As for the service, everyone is very nice and respectful. Water glasses are always full and there is always someone around if you need them. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for the type of Italian food you would find in an Italian home.
