My family discovered this little gem after finding our first choice of restaurant was closed. It's a tiny BYOW establishment--there is a small shop right across the street--but their service was impeccable and their food was fabulous for more than reasonable price. Our meal started off with a cup of soup. It was supposed to be cold potato soup, but the waiter brought us gazpacho soup instead. It was so delicious that it left us wondering what the original soup would have tasted. For our main dish, we ordered Filet Mignon, Steak Tartar and Risotto. They were absolutely delicious! We wanted to try their dessert, but their large portion didn't leave us any room for dessert. We certainly would like to come back and try that soup and dessert at our next visit.

Since I was traveling with my kids (ages 10 to 14) and my elderly parents, I picked this restaurant for our first dinner in Montreal after reading nice reviews on this site. Boy was I surprised! Their restaurant has casual atmosphere and their waitress graciously got us a waiter who can walk through their menu in English. We had a great start with a salad with balsamic and oil vinaigrette. My kids are very picky with salad dressing but they loved it! Every main dish we ordered was absolutely delicious--all of us couldn't help having a sample of every dish--but the braised lamb shank my mother had was the best of all. It just melted in my mouth! Their portion was right enough to leave everyone a room to enjoy a dessert. We ordered six different dessert to sample them all, ending our meal with complete satisfaction. Lastly, their price was so reasonable that my father had a big grin on his face when he got the check. I would definitely come back to this restaurant when I visit Montreal again.
