My absolute favourite chinese food! Everything we have tried has been excellent. We always get take-out so cannot speak to the service.
I am adding this spot to my favourites list. I would even add it to my top 5 in Montreal. A really fun spot and a great ambiance. (Just be sure to leave yourself time to park, and be sure to bring wine). Together, my boyfriend and I had escargots, crispy duck, seafood risotto and sea bass. Everything was exactly as we anticipated and absolutely delicious. Service was prompt and very friendly, and we had so many delicious option to choose from that we have to go back again soon. Our only regret was the poor wine - and we brought that ourselves!!
Mmmm. Poutine is a favourite, and this spot does it well. Love the variety and the excellent quality. They even have a few items that are not poutine - just in case :) We often bring guests from outside Quebec here to have a taste. You just can't get this stuff outside Quebec.
As far as a special place to visit in Montreal, this is on the top of the list. I have eaten at Alep a few times, and it has never been short of fabulous. The food is always marvelous, and the service is very friendly and encouraging. Our favourite way, by far, to eat here is to have the tasting menu where we all try a number of things. I always eat too much because I love it so much I never want to stop eating! Seriously, you have to eat here!
So good! I was looking for a sit-down place to bring out of town guests for Portuguese chicken and this was perfect! The chicken we had (Quarter white meat) was done perfectly, and all the guests raved about it. The bonus was that the price was excellent and the atmosphere was totally cool. I am adding this to my list of favourite must-try places for visitors.
We're new to the West Island and came across this spot by accident. We have had good meals here, and we'll continue to come back. The patio is nice, and the service is really good. The menu has good variety without offering everything and the kitchen sink. I love a good burger and I am not disappointed with the burgers here. I look forward to my next visits and trying more of the menu.
This is a charming little restaurant. I selected it because I found reviews that it was a romantic spot and we weren't disappointed. This small restaurant had 3 walls with large windows, and on the warm night we were there, they were all open to let the spring breeze blow through, and let the sunshine in. It was so nice to just sit and enjoy the evening. The menu is small and very French and we could hardly decide what to order because everything looked so good. We enjoyed our meal very much, and definitely liked bringing our own wine! I would say this is a great neighbourhood spot to celebrate with a meal. I would say our total bill for 2 including dessert, was about $125.
