I took my husband for his birthday this year. It was my third time over there. Toque is still Toque… Yes, food is different. Wine list is impressive. The service is impeccable… but, you can find amazing tables for much less money. I paid the bill; a bill for two with some wine tasting (3 glasses each) and 2 glasses of Champaign. It cost me 500 $ with tip. It was good but, still... If you never being and you want to try something different (not caring much about how much it will cost)… Should try it… at least once!
Oh my, oh my! It's not for everyday because it's a bit pricy but the food, yummmmm! Delicious, delicious X 1000. I've being there with my husband at lunch time and we left with smiles in uour faces. It was just merveilous. Another must go!
Superbe restaurant. Excellente Tapas. Tout est bon chez Tapeo. Il faut dire: It's not cheap... you pay for the very good food you will eat and, being a Tapas place... you don't get huge plates. If you are hungry is not the place to go if you don't want to spend money. But, if you appreciate good food, imagination, amazing tastes... Please, don't waste to chance to eat at Tapeo. I always take my clients there (day time) and it's sooo appreciated! It's a MUST GO!
I always appreciated Helena’s food. She is the owner of Portus Calle at Plateau Mont Royal (rue St-Laurent) and she just opened this new place at McGill Street (old port). I’ve being there yesterday and the food was amazing, as always. This chef has a talent you don’t find in a lot of Portuguese chefs around the world. You must, absolutely, try Helena’s food. They also have a private importation (Portuguese wines)… you can try very different bottle not found in Montreal. I highly recommended! Absolutely Delicious!!!
Best price X quality sushi in Montreal... I ate at almost all of them. I am a sushi lover!!! This place has an amazing selection of sushis and the sushiman worked at Kaisan before. It's bring your own wine... It was the first sushi in Montreal to propose this formula. If you love sushi as I do...go there and please, eat the SAMURAI sushi roll... mummmmmmmmmmmmm! So good!
One of the BEST Portuguese tables the Montreal. Helena (the chef) has amazing hands...she cooks amazing! You really should try it. They have wine importation so you can try new things you don't find at SAQ. I ate there so many times and when I don't know where to go and I wanna to be sure to eat well... I go there! Prices are $$$$ but the food and ambiance are 100 % cool!
