Okane is a surprise hit in my book. While I didn't find the ambiance particularly interesting, their service is excellent and, most of all, their makis are the best I have yet tasted in my whole life. If I had to make two nitpicky complaints, it would be firstly about the music they play. While I read they used to play classical music in older reviews form 2011, it's not the case anymore. Every time I ate there, they were playing radio hits like Rihanna or Pitbull (which felt out of place, especially if you're eating in the private tatami room!) Secondly, and again, very nitpicky, the wood they used to make the private room is of low quality. The edges are very pointy on the table, compared to their standard tables. To me, it should have been the opposite, but oh well. If you're the owner, reading my review, if you could adress that it would be great. If you are a customer, nevermind my complaints and just rush in to Okane. You will not be disappointed.
