The name Yangtze has been an institution in Montreal for many years. I remember from a very young age going to eat there when they were located on Van Horne Avenue. Besides the prices not much has changed as far as Quality food and great service. The Egg rolls and won ton soup are still the best in the city. The only food change is the pineapple chicken. They use breaded chicken balls now instead of odd shaped pieces of chicken that's breaded. I think I prefer the old way. The food was served hot and fresh and very prompt. I truly recommend Yangtze to anyone that loves traditional Chinese food.
