This is a great place to take seniors out to lunch for a dinner at noon. Old style service, with Roast Beef, Steak Lamb and Fish choices, good spot to bring family all ages, parking lot. Call to reserve best . North city near GOUIN blvd.
Best little very comfortable Lebanese restaurant, with a great reputation. Lady in the kitchen makes the best homemade Middle Eastern food, letting you enjoy wonderful dinner for special occasions Parking on the street , meters, or find an Outremont city parkinglot. Table Dhote choices available , ask for their daily suggestions .
Focalaio on Phillips Square, just in front of the Bay store, is probably the best little Pizza place for thin crusted, any topping you can imagine pizza , with great tasting cheeses . They also have the best Caesar salad downtown . No pasta just pizza but delicious , go after 8pm its quieter , or go early betw 130 and 530pm .
For homeade Jamaican food, uptown, try this very casual little spot for some JERK Chicken, Rice& peas, TING to drink, Coconut Rum & coke! (yes, they have a little bar ) Jamaican Beer Catch fo the day , fish , call to see whats cooking , all good. (usually closed on Sundays, call to check ) parking street metres. Dont missit , its semi basement, on the northside of VanHorne going west. just before Victoria . Owners are your server & Chef.
Not just for Smoked meat, although its good too, This Dunns has a good Table DHote Menu, including soup, or caesar salad, main course lots of choices, and beverage for under $13-$18 ea. Wondering where to get a rib steak dinner ? Here it is , tasty 12oz. Fish and Chips (can substiture for Baked Potato ) was great also. and I must say the Caesar salad is very good here. Nothing fancy , but free parking , unlim beverage refill, and TV to watch hockey or baseball if you want to . Good dessert menu too.
A favourite spot in TMR , Ville Mont Royal, great grilled cheese lunch with salad , known for brunch and its breakfast menu on weekends til 230p , nice ambiance high ceilings , former Royal Bank, with Premier Moisson , for patisserie, pate, and breads to take home. Come try and take a walk in the Trudeau rose Garden after eating , parking easy ,on the street , free. For 4 or more, call to reserve.
We love Galo in TMR ! Roasted by fire oven Chicken , portugese style. and the fries are the best in Montreal, amazing. be careful, or you ll get addicted to Galo ! get in before 830pm the kitchen closes at 9p. Lots of other Portugese dishes, fish, seafood squid and more. Strawberry dessert worth a try, share it.
