This restaurant is my favorite sushi place in the West Island. The food is always very fresh and tasty with the sushi rolls very nicely done. The decor is modern but warm with a nice waterfall concept against one of the walls. Great booths are available if you're with a group of 4-7 people but they're almost always occupied. The service is prompt and professional but sometimes a little cold, I felt rushed to place my order with little time for questions. I never worry about the quality at Maiko, although I find it a bit expensive.

I recommend this restaurant to Indian food lovers and indian food virgins alike! I discovered indian food a few years ago. Since then, I've tried most of the Indian restaurants in Montreal, both downtown and in the West Island. This restaurant is so worth the extra 10 minute drive... the food is amazing with generous portions (you can ask for mild to spicy variations of your meal), its affordable but feels like a splurge, the ambiance is enjoyable and the service is pretty good. I had my birthday party in a charming private room of the restaurant which has a really different and fun seating arrangement. They also make it easy to try many different things at once and share the food.
