Ordered from this place twice. First time the food arrived after an hour and a half wait, close to being cold and missing part of the order. It was edible enough to give them a second chance. Which we soon ended up regretting. Yesterday we ordered from them again, after an hour and a half wait we called the place to ask where our food was, they said it would arrive within a few minutes, 2 hours in we called again just to find out they closed. The food never arrived and it was too late to order from anywhere else. Needless to say: No more chances will be given.
Hooray for decadence! Highlight of the evening: Horse tenderloin + the most amazing mashed potatoes ever in the history of mashed potatoes. Their Bloody Caesar comes with a shrimp and an oyster...Holy awesome Batman! I'm a fan. *stamp of approval*
Meh. The salad I had was tasty. The sushi was very plain, and rolled poorly. Nobody that works there smiles. It's pricey (for what it is) and they only take cash. Not a fan, very overrated imo.
If you like deep-fried Southern foods and picnics you're at the right place. Order, drag your basket out to the park next door and stuff your face with things that will make you feel guilty afterwards (but during you don't care one bit). Their fried chicken is my favourite and they also make a mean hushpuppie.
The best sushi I have (so far) found in Montreal, and that says something because I lived in Vancouver BC for 7 years. The prices are good, it's fresh, well rolled, and the flavours are great. They even offer sushi with rice & soy paper as a nori replacement. Besides their sushi they also have great other dishes like their tuna steak or raw lobster sashimi. The service can be a little slow at times. Needless to say we go here often.
Great Italian restaurant in Old-Montreal, with super tasty pastas. I absolutely loved my pappardelle. They have a good wine selection as well. The service was rather "Meh" at the start but got better later in the evening. I will return here.
Stay clear from the French onion soup, it's the worst I've ever had. The lobster bisque was good. Steaks are fine, but nothing outstanding, more seasoning is needed. They did cook them properly (one rare one blue). The service wasn't attentive, nobody really cared if we were having a good meal or needed another drink. Surely not the best steakhouse in town, but will do in a pinch.
