I had the bugolgi and it was the blandest I ever tasted. The beef tasted boiled and there was no flavor in the rest of the dish either. As for service, it was good, no complaints there.
I would suggest their appetizers over their food plates. Appetizers with wings and onion rings are really good. As for the beer it is cheap! It's a nice place to go to for a quick bite after work!
We had the eggplant dish which was tasty but tiny and overpriced. We also had the sambosas which were mostly fried dough and barely a teaspoon on meat inside, once again overpriced! For the main meal I had a chicken korma dish with rice which was a huge disappointment. There was barely half a chicken breast in there and the sauce was bland. It came with a huge plate of rice which is just filler as far as I'm concerned since I did not expect to pay to eat a plain plate of rice and a quarter chicken breast. As for service it's fine.
Food here was really good! I had a combo plate with chicken and beef which was cooked to perfection. My imperial role was overcooked though but my fiance had it too and his was cooked to perfection. The sizzling plate is very tasty as well. What really made me fall in love with this place was their fried ice cream... It is by far the best one I have ever had! One serving is more than enough for two people. As for service it was good, but this place gets very busy which means you may have to wait a bit for your food. It's a bonus that it's a BYOW!
Very good food! Soup was delicious, crispy sesame shrimp were not crispy but very tasty nonetheless. Their sushi was also very good. Only complaint would be that we went there based on the menu we saw here on restomontreal and it was not the same menu as the restaurant. The problem was that their prices are much higher than we expected. We have been to other sushi restaurants that serve just as good food for a more reasonable price.
We ordered a party platter and the sushi was fresh but extremely bland. Ingredients were limited and lacking in flavor. The fried ice cream was simply ice cream wrapped in a crepe.
The food here is great! Spicy here means spicy and full of flavor. I have tried their chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, chilli chicken and madrasi chicken and all are very tasty. What I also love about this place is that they fill up your plate with meat. Many other Indian restaurants fill your plate up with onions or other veggies instead. Their naans are good but a bit on the smaller side. As for service it is not great but it is better than some other Indian restaurants of its kind... Service is also very fast which is a plus!
I love this place! Their food is very fresh and tasty. Unlike most people I know, I am not crazy about their chicken, however their gyro plate is the best in town. Their potatoes are out of this world. Portions are very generous as well. Their calamari appetizer is also worth trying. Their prices are very reasonable too.
Best Indian food in Montreal hands down. My bf and I have tried many different restaurants and we always go back to this one because they are consistent! The cheese curry is delicious, the butter chicken is the best in town. The chicken tikka masala is also good... everything on the menu is falvourful. As for the service, it's horrible. Even when the place is near empty, it takes at least 15 minutes before we even get acknowledged. Every time I order something to drink it never comes (this has happened at least four times). I recommend this restaurant for take-out.
I've been to this place a few times and I have never been disappointed. The filet mignon brochette was very good as was the filet mignon and shrimp special. The calamari was not that great but it wasn't horrible either. It's a great place to go to if you want to enjoy the company you're with. We were a group of four friends and we spent quite some time there. The BYOW aspect is what really made it worthwhile.
This Arahova is really bad. It used to be good many years ago but today it's not even worth a quick bite. Service is very slow (even when the place is empty) and lacking. Food is either bad or alright. When ordering a pita with tzatziki expect a whole cup's worth of the sauce. It's nauseating and not edible. As for the meet itself (pork souvlaki) it's usually dry and tough.
The service is the worse I have experienced. I once went there with my bf, got seated and was forgotten. My bf got the hostess who simply ignored him, and then she sent a waiter to our table, who also came by and ignored us. When we did get service there previous times, it was horrible... very slow and not courteous at all.
I have been numerous times to this resto with my bf. The food is delicious. The samosas are great, and so is everything else. The only dish I would not recommend is the vindaloo because the sauce is too oily. Other than that, their butter chicken, their baltis and so on are amazing! The Naans are some of the best in town as well!
They forgot to bring my order and the portions were way smaller than other tapas bars! Never again!
We ordered chicken madras, lamb vindaloo, and the tandoori sizzler. First off, the tandoori sizzler tasted bland. The lamb vindaloo lamb pieces were very hard and stringy
The food is decent. I had a hamburger with fries. Although it was good, it wasn't the greatest. My bf had the chicken stirfry which was good but again not great. Too many onions not much chicken. The service is very cheery as someone mentionned but a bit slow.
I love this place! The food is always good and enough to fill me up! The burgers are just divine, and one of the best this city has to offer. I love the chicken sante fe with its goat cheese BUT they keep jacking up the prices, so I stopped eating it... Ribs, if you feel like spending a little extra, are usually worth it, as theyre tender and just reallllly good. My few complaints are that the soft drinks are total rip offs...and the service realllly depends on many factors...as for the food, only once did I go there and food was brought to the table burnt...of course it was close to closing time, so I let it slide...
