Went for lunch today and had the Szechuan pork lunch special and it was GREAT!! Had a brief chat with the cook on his walk-by and he asked if it was hot enough for me? I said, next time I order, I will ask for some REAL HEAT!!! An excellent $9.99 lunch special!

Went to check out their Pigs Knuckles after the demise of my favorite at the Dominion Square Tavern. Only thing I can say is - thank goodness for the Happy Hour special on the beer - a full pint for $4.00. As for the house special knuckle, not so impressed. Braised chunks of knuckle, sliced about an inch thick, bland sauce, quite overdone IMHO, and baked potato. Sauerkraut served lukewarm and one brocoli stem quite cold. While price was reasonable at $11.95, it surely lacked the experience I was lead to understand it would be. Oh well, the search continues.... BTW, service was quite good, very efficient though a little on the cool side.
