One of the best steakhouses in Montreal. Not sure why this one is a little better than the one in Downtown. Juicy steak, perfectly done!
No doubt, one of the best ones in China town. Have been going to this place for many years. Their mein (egg noddle) used to be the best in town when Mr. Lam was still around. It's still very good don't take me wrong. Everytime I go, I usually order their Won Ton Mein or Catonese fry noddle. Even though their price is a little bit higher than other restaurants in China Town but it's still reasoable. They open late until three am in the morning. On Friday and Saturday night, this place is still very crowded. It's great to go in a group so you can try different dishes. As for the service, in China town there isn't much service. However, the waiters there are not too bad. Most of them are fully trilingual and have been working there for years. They are honest and do give great advise if you have trouble ordering. Just don't piss them off and they expect 15% tips. Of course, if they provide bad service, do not give 15% but it's rare. If you have a complain to make, complain to the owner or manager who sits at the cash counter. No use to argue with the waiter!
My favorite restaurant in town. The curry chicken, butter chicken and the lamb are very tasty. Authentic Indian cuisine with very affordable pricing. If you go there between 6:30pm-7:30pm, you will probably be standing in line.
Trendy decor, price is also reasonable, taste is okay nothing special. Presentation is not bad, can tell that there is effort put into it. I am not a big fan of this fusion type of Japanese restaurant though, although the price isn't too bad as compared to some other Japan fusion restaurants. If you haven't been there yet, bring your client and go there at lunch time to try it out, charge it on the company.
Love it!! The food is great and so is the service. Although it's hard to find parking but still it's worth it! Awesome seafood dish!! Must go!!
Have been going to this place for many years. Where they are located now, it's even better than their old location, in terms of decor and the settings. One of the best Japanese restaurants in town. The food is good and authentic. Don't always go to those All you can eat buffet! Not only it's not healthy but you will never learn and taste authentic food.
My wife and I have been going there for many years. Should you need to go there on a Friday or Saturday evening, I suggest you make a reservation. Not only the West Islanders but people from all over Montreal are going to this restaurant. It has a nice setting, especailly the ceiling. Even if the place is packed, you won't feel very crowded or congested once you are sitting down. As for food, it's authentic and the price is very reasonable, especially for lunch. At lunch time, for an average of $13.00, you can a choice of soup or salad, the main course, dessert and coffee or tea. The portion is more than enough. The pasta is excellent and so is the seafood. For appetizer, try the mussel with saffron sauce, taste is awesome and big portion, enough for three. The service is excellent. If there is a problem, just let your waiter know and he will do his best to accomodate you.
