Jewel in the Ruff! I have lived in Montreal and Laurentians, for 50 years and have been to all the restaurants over the years. We went to Le Rio on friends' recommendations and there is no doubt, it is definitely the best restaurant in St-Sauveur and one of the best in the region. Food was superb, all fresh ingredients, perfectly prepared and cooked. And, surprisingly generous portions for a restaurant. Prices were very reasonable but much better value than the other high-end restaurants in town. Staff was super friendly, very knowledgeable, attentive but not intrusive.
