The history of the restaurants "Vivere!" began in June 1999, at 505 De La Gauchetière (corner of Beaver Hall) near the edge of Old Montreal and the Quartier International. Its creator, Joseph Tutino's (who was then only 20 years old) mission is to take over the authenticity of Italian cuisine in meeting the needs of a customer looking for good food at good prices.

The success was such that in March 2004 another restaurant "Vivere!" was born in the downtown area at 1 Place Ville Marie, where people gather to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine using only fresh, high quality ingredients. The delicious pastas, veal or fish prepared the Italian way make people talk because of their excellence.

The fresh bread, hot soup or a salad, combined with simple but attentive service make sure that every meal is a feast. Clients and friends love variation and greatly appreciate enjoying their meals on the terraces of the fantastic "Vivere!" (De La Gauchetière) in the summer, with a magnificent view of Victoria Square on one side and the magnificent Basilica of St-Patrick's on the other. In addition, to better meet customer expectations, a takeout counter is available at "Vivere!" (Place Ville Marie) for the people on the go.
