L'Assommoir stirs up an excellent cocktail, catered to any person`s craving. With over 300 cocktail selections, L'Assommoir invites the customer to come to a world where life continues to reinvent itself.

Although the draw to L'Assommoir is the impressive selection of cocktails, the food specialty is ceviche, raw fish and other seafood marinated in citrus juice. Along with the ceviche, the menu boasts a fairly large collection of meat dishes, such as the porc au whiskey Jameson and decadent desserts, like sorbet.

The interior is a dark brown and mahogany paint décor, with long wooden tables and chocolate-hued chairs. A DJ spins a variety of upbeat tunes each night of the week, and Sundays feature different live musicians. The crowd is professional, yet laid back, and there is plenty of space for table-hopping.
