The originality of this restaurant lies in part on the fact that the dining area is housed in what used to be a real apartment, set on two floors and presenting customers with two distinct rooms. One to share a pleasant meal, the other to converse calmly and sip a drink while enjoying the music. The dining room, modern and wonderfully lit, has comfy booth seating, while the lounge area is darker and more intimate. The reddish bar and electric fireplaces make for a calm and comfortable ambiance while a resident DJ sets the mood by spinning groovy tracks for the likes of customers enjoying a drink or a tasty meal.

There are many interesting surprises on L’Appartement’s menu. The chef has elaborated a market cuisine mostly based on the freshness of ingredients and the originality of combination's. It is therefore impossible to know what to expect before digging in. The fish and seafood platters are excellent and the dips into Asian cuisine are particularly successful, as are the pasta plates, always cooked perfectly al dente.
